Sound like you? We’re looking for an Executive Search Recruiter to manage a full cycle desk with our Metro DC branch, located in Bethesda, MD. You will be the owner and driver of your desk, hunting client leads and recruiting top-tier candidates to fill key direct placement positions with the area’s best employers. Business development and recruiting experience are crucial and you must be able to close business! 

As an Executive Search Recruiter with The BOSS Group:
  • You will drive, manage and grow business by actively seeking leads, qualifying prospects, conducting cold calls and giving sales presentations
  • You must hit specific activity benchmarks and be able to close business
  • Network, Network, Network – at industry events, online, in line at the grocery store, you are always making contacts
  • You must be adaptable, trainable, coach-able and focused; great sense of humors welcome (egos should be left at home)
  • You’re on the phone so much people think it’s part of you
  • You will show up ready to attack each day with a list of contacts in mind
  • Populate and maintain client and candidate information in our proprietary database
You Must:
  • Get pumped at the thought of pitching to C-level executives and VPs at leading companies
  • Love watching your income grow as a reward for your hard work; you thrive in a position where your paycheck is a direct reflection of your efforts and success
  • Demonstrate a track record of top performance running a full cycle desk with the proven ability to negotiate and close both clients and candidates
  • Understand and be able to sell the benefits of contingent and/or retained searches; must possess sales and recruiting experience in both
  • Be able to build rapport, open doors and establish trust with leading employers and top-tier professionals
  • Bring experience cold calling into companies, sourcing for candidate and identifying client leads
  • Radiate initiative, motivation and the drive to succeed
  • Play in the interactive space; you Facebook and Tweet, of course you’re Linkedin and you’re always on the lookout for the next great web 2.0 experience
  • Be technically savvy; you can tweak PowerPoint presentations and you know your way around databases; we’re a Mac environment so if you’ve got that down it’s a nice bonus
  • Be able to sell to clients across multiple industries; experience working with creative, interactive and/or marketing communications professionals is strongly desired
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (candidates without a degree will not be considered)
  • Possess a valid drivers license
As we said, we’re growing. We’re looking for candidates interested in eventually relocating to another BOSS location (after 12 to 24 months).
