Sound like you? We’re looking for a top performer to join our Bethesda, MD branch as a Recruiter. This is not just another staffing job and we’re not looking for just another staffing professional. As a Recruiter with The BOSS Group:
  • You will drive, manage and grow business by actively sourcing and profiling candidates, conducting recruiting calls and building solid relationships with Metro DC's leading creative, interactive, marketing and web talent and employers
  • You will partner with Account Managers to fill temporary positions including short-term ASAP assignments, long-term/contract based roles, and temp-to-hire placements
  • You make desirable placement matches based on both talent and client needs
  • You must hit specific weekly, monthly and annual activity benchmarks and sales goals
  • Network, Network, Network – at industry events, online, in line at the grocery store, you are always making contacts and you stay immersed in the creative community
  • You must be adaptable, trainable, coach-able and focused; great sense of humors welcome (egos should be left at home)
  • You’re on the phone so much people think it’s part of you
  • You will show up ready to attack each day with a list of contacts in mind
  • You will play a key role in our industry-leading talent screening and evaluation process; you will phone screen, interview, administer software assessments and review portfolios to identify highly qualified talent
  • You will populate and maintain candidate information in our proprietary database
  • You will represent The BOSS Group at CreativeConnects, our award-winning free networking event dedicated to creative professionals
You Must:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in related field (candidates without a degree will not be considered)
  • Demonstrate a track record of success in a high-volume recruiting environment with the proven ability to source candidates and fill jobs; staffing experience is strongly desired
  • Radiate initiative, motivation and the drive to succeed
  • You possess the ability to open doors, develop rapport, establish trust and build quality strategic relationships
  • Play in the interactive space; you Facebook and Tweet, of course you’re Linkedin and you understand how to use these tools to build and nurture your professional network
  • Be technically savvy; you’re a fast learner and you know your way around databases; we’re a Mac environment so if you’ve got that down it’s a nice bonus
  • Experience recruiting web / interactive / digital and/or creative professionals is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with a team player attitude
